Favorite beer types in Belgium 2019
Lager, or pilsener, was the most popular type of beer according to consumers in Belgium in 2019. When asked about their favorite beer types, just over 25 percent of the respondents stated that their preferred beer was lager, whereas craft beer types such as trappist and abbey beers (produced by monks) were preferred by 10 to 15 percent of the respondents.
